tutorials: linuxEr zijn tegenwoordig veel notebooks op de markt waarvan de cpu zijn snelheid aanpast naargelang de data die hij moet verwerken. In Gnome heb je hiervoor het programma cpu frequency scaling monitor. Het kan je cpu snelheid weergeven op een gnome balk maar het kan ook je cpu snelheid aanpassen als het de juiste rechten krijgt.



Deze manier is niet aangeraden omdat je het programma root rechten geeft,  maar het is makkelijk en het werkt. Tot er een betere oplossing bovenkomt is dit echter ook de enige manier.

open een terminal en typ:

su                                                          
chmod +s /usr/bin/cpufreq-selector
